Hey, I just realised last night that we had reached our goal of taking no flights for a year! Yeah baby. The last time we flew was to Granada in Spain last May and following on from that we made the decision to try and do our bit for the environment and holiday in the UK only.
Its interesting as I read an article recently that said Ryanair were offering reduced price flights for summer and tellingly that meant profits were down - the article attributed this to people just like us who were trying to save carbon emissions.
POWER TO THE PEOPLE! It really does work and my little bit really isn't insignificant.
