Conifer Sisters

Good Morning. What a beautiful day. We're gonna work in the garden this morning, whenever K deems to get up. We both had a few beers last night - me at the German Beer Market in Albert Square with my work colleagues and K was watching the football.

We'll be doing general tidying, taking old bricks to the tip and cutting down a conifer. Its a shame really as I love trees but this one is just too big and scraggly, plus its blocking the view down the garden from the house. Its not all bad, though, as it has a sister and the sister will remain. At one point, the sisters would have looked cute and quaint standing as sentries to the entryway to the lawn area but now they're out of control! The garden needs other more major work but maybe another day.....next month.....next year! Don't want to set myself up for failure after all.

Then we're watching the England game at home......will probably collapse onto the sofa after all that lugging and arm and back workouts.

I'm off to get some coffee ...
