Its our wedding anniversary today. K handed me an envelope this morning and when I went to open it, I found a question written on the back: "do you remember the first album we bought as a couple on honeymoon in Dublin". After a few guesses, I failed miserably and could not remember, although I do know it was from Tower Records. I then opened the envelope and two Lemonheads tickets popped out for tonight at Academy 2. I haven't heard any of their new stuff so am listening to them on my space now, here.
We went to see the mighty Raconteurs last night at the Apollo. Dinner's ready....back in a bit ........ actually no time to finish this post suffice to say the Raconteurs rocked!!!

Cheers Cris. Incidentially the Lemonheads played a cracking show. All their greatest hits came out of the bag and Evan Dando did a prolonged amazing acoustic set. The crowd were all mainly 30 somethings re-living past youth and signing at the top of their lungs. There was even a respectable mosh pit.
Evan is such a brilliant songwriter and last night brought that home to me once again.
