Shampoo

I have been looking around for a while for shampoo and conditioner free of nasty chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulfate and petrochemicals, and one that didn't cost the earth at that. The major supermarkets just don't seem to cater for this. Elsewhere the "organic" brands surprisingly still have hidden nasties listed amongst their ingredients. So, I was most surprised yesterday to chance upon a brand called "Naked" in a major high street chemist chain.

I haven't got a verdict as yet, having only used it once. I asked K what he thought and he commented that he had to shampoo twice as it didn't foam. I pointed out the instructions on the back which warn its "not as foamy as sulfate-based shampoos, yet highly effective" - he hadn't read this! I think its a matter of changing mind set as we're so used to foamy shampoos!
