Went to get some groceries on the way home and saw some halloumi on the shelves which said "eat me, eat me now". So now I need to find a halloumi kebab recipe. I've got halloumi, red pepper, courgette, red onion, herb salad and ciabatta and somehow need to find a recipe, maybe with a marinade.

Had a fun fun fun weekend. Went to the gorgeous Seaming's house on on Friday night for her house mate, Sonia's birthday celebrations. Cool tunes and a great mix of people and was fab to chat to Steven and Lev and meet Lucy, Lev's flatmate again. Got to Chorlton after 11 though and wandered the streets aimlessly for a while as we the offy's shut at 11 and we didn't want to turn up empty handed. We asked some lovely local girls in the end and they pointed us in the direction of an unassuming Greek place that did wine and beer take out! Sorted! Then we got lost finding the place ....... all good in the end.

K's dad and two of his mates arrived to B & B with us for the weekend on Saturday lunchtime - they had tickets for the cricket at old Trafford on Sunday. We had only just got out of bed but lucky for me I didn't have to entertain them - they were with us only for the time it took to dump their bags before they left to find the nearest pub!

Saturday teatime saw our new bathroom tiling grout dried and I duly christened the new bath before heading out to Eyan's birthday bash at Trof in Fallowfield. Flukily bumped into Eyan at Stockport Bus Station so travelled to Trof together. It felt like a mini bus adventure as I don't normally catch the bus. I really love the atmosphere in Trof. Feels very homey with great atmosphere and I'm glad Jonesy introduced us to the place on our first few days on living in Mcr.

K couldn't make it to Eyan's do and was a bit gutted but he had a good night taking his dad and his two mates to the dog racing where they met Freddie Flintoff (means nothing to me but you cricket fans would be impressed).

On Sunday we met Andy and Norman at the Thai Cultural Festival at the Squash Centre at Sportcity. Had some superb Thai food and met some of A&N's mates. Saw some Thai sword fighting, a fashion show, football match, singing and Andy dragged me onto the dance floor to do some dancing - they use all arm movements, very floaty. Was fun! Couldn't get the professionals, Norman and Ingrid to dance for all the tea in china which was interesting.

We were supposed to going out for a bar meal with K's dad and mates Sunday evening after the cricket had finished but I think they got a bit sauced and so texted K saying they would be back late. K got a bit aggrivated with them as they did get back really late, drunk, having twice getting K out of bed saying they were lost and then finally ringing the door bell and banging the door when they had a key! Not fun when you have work in the morning. Anyway, they have since apologised.

Right, I need to eat. K will be home soon from meeting an old work mate for a few games of pool. I might as well cook a few extra halloumi kebabs for him me thinks.
