A SATURDAY IN THE LIFE OF .....

Saturday went something like this:-

- Woke up
- Bathroom
- Went downstairs, K was making bacon sarnie and had coffee on the go! Kooewl
- Ate, drank, read Guardian, listened to Stevie Wonder and Nirvana Unplugged.
- Got through HUGE pile of ironing. Listened to Kings of Leon.
- Washed up; cleaned cooker
- Talked to Kwhilst he was on computer - looked up bus/train times for later
- Showered & dressed
- Checked emails
- Walked to bus stop
- Bus arrived. However, bus driver decided to terminate his journey early. We would have to wait half an hour for next bus...........aaarrrrrgh!
- Walked along bus route a few stops to keep warm whilst waiting.
- Got on bus.
- Got off bus at New Mills after scenic journey - walked a mile to friends' house up steep hill
- Arrived at C, J and G's house for their house warming/G's third birthday party celebration
- Ate, drank, and was merry. Chatted to lots of people. Helped beat the crap out of panyata Spanish thing. Ate too much sugary stuff as befits a child's party. Watched K be the biggest kid of them all!
- Friend drove us to New Mills Central train station for train into Manchester. Wrote R's birthday card.
- Walked from Manchester Piccadilly train station to Sand Bar
- Arrived at Sand Bar
- Drank and was merry to celebrate R's birthday - lovely fruity beer!
- Lift in L's 'lovely George" car to Nexus night cafe for launch night
- Had lush organic lemonade...too much alcohol already
- Danced in E's DJ booth and then with R on dance floor
- Got some chips en route to bus stop
- Nightbus home
- Walked from bus stop to home.
- Fell into bed.
