Sense of wellbeing

I have a great sense of wellbeing tonight. All is calm and wonderful and fluffy!

I got off at my local train station after work tonight and started on my usual walk home. I realised it was still LIGHT! The birds were tweeting and I walked on with a lightness in my step. I approached the entrance to a park which slightly shortcuts to my house and normally in winter I have to bypass, and with happiness realised that it was light enough to walk through - its a gorgeous path with lots of lovely trees (btw there's always loads of dog walkers and children about in daylight). I reached the gate to discover it had been locked early. Bah! Still, that was not enough to spoil my lightened mood.

On arriving home, I gave Kev the bargain £10 shoes I bought him at lunchtime and he was really made up, which made me happy.

Then I ran myself a lovely bath and listened to XFM on the radio. They are having a pilot night and lots of great tunes from my past came rolling out.

Now I'm off to trial my wedding outfit for S & R's wedding ......... can't wait for their Big Day to arrive!
