Foo Fighters & The Strokes

My man is one happy man.

I read in the Metro on Friday that the Foo Fighters were playing at Lancs Cricket Club on 18 June and were to be supported by The Strokes. Well, knowing that K has wanted to see the Foo Fighters for a while and our having narrowly missed out on tickets for The Strokes' tour this month, I immediately texted him, saying the tickets would be on sale from 9 am Saturday.

Next thing I knew, I arrived home from work to K brandishing a huge smile saying he had bought pre-sale tickets.

I'M SO EXCITED! This will never compensate for there being no Glastonbury this year but will go some way to making this a June to remember! We saw REM at Lancs Cricket Club last year and really loved the venue.
