ITS NOT RAINING

Its the first day in many when it has not rained, so why oh why am I sat at the computer with the curtains closed!? Must get out soon.

Had a great evening yesterday. Kev rang me just before I left work suggesting we went to see the jazz in St Anne's Square as part of Manchester Jazz Festival http://www.manchesterjazz.com. What a lovely way to finish what was a hectic work week and the band, I forget the name, was quite funky. There was some crazy random Manc dude dancing away at the front who was attracting a lot of media attention - expect to see him in the local rag.

Then we went on to The Bay Horse in the Northern Quarter. There's a plethora of good new bars in the vicinity but what pulls us back there is the bottle of house white you get for £6 Mon-Fri bet 5 and 7 pm......can't beat that bargain now can you? Let me know if you have had better and I'm there. The music is also a good mixed bag.

We had then planned to get something to eat but I was feeling too tiddly, so we came on home via a takeaway outlet and then after eating I promptly fell asleep....poor Kev.

This morning, after getting up late, I had some lovely coffee and a bagel. I just love fresh coffee on the weekend. Kev is sat downstairs finalising his University application. Yes he is applying for Uni which is both exciting and scary at the same time. I'll be supporting him, which is wierd. the course starts in September and he only went on the open day last week, so there is a lot happening all at once. I might go into more detail some other time coz I'm going now to enjoy the fresh bright and can I see the sun creeping out OUTDOORS!
